- Do I need WhatsApp Business to take orders?
- No. GroupOrder Bot links to any WhatsApp number on a spare phone via Linked Devices — no WhatsApp Business API and no Facebook approval needed. You scan a QR code once and that number becomes your dedicated business bot.
- How much does GroupOrder Bot cost?
- You start with a 30-day free trial, then it's R199 per month. No contract — cancel any time. Billing is in Rand through PayFast, built for South African businesses.
- Can customers order privately instead of in a group?
- Yes. Private mode lets customers DM your bot number directly, so nobody else sees their order. You can also run group mode, where customers order in a shared WhatsApp group — or use both.
- How long does setup take?
- About two minutes. Register, generate a QR code, scan it from WhatsApp on a spare phone, add your menu, and you're taking orders. No technical knowledge needed.
- What kind of businesses is it for?
- Any South African business that takes orders over WhatsApp — butcheries, spaza shops, bakeries and delis, farm stalls, hardware stores, and grocery suppliers.
- Can I export my orders?
